CAIA® is the globally recognised credential for professionals who manage, analyse, distribute, or regulate alternative investments. Professionals who benefit from a CAIA designation include asset allocators, risk managers, analysts, portfolio managers, traders, and marketing professionals.
To become a CAIA charterholder, you need to pass Level 1 and Level 2 examinations in the CAIA Program. Each level of the CAIA Program requires about 200-250 hours of study. To support you, Edge Designations offers various learning options. At each level, you can:
- Study, at certain periods, via live Zoom sessions in addition to an anytime online program. The live Zoom sessions are held every 2-3 weeks over certain periods of the year, and the pre-recorded online CAIA course covers the entire curriculum by means of archived video sessions, comprehensive notes, and question banks.
- Study solely via the anytime online program, covering the entire curriculum without live Zoom sessions.
- Take the revision program as you revise for the examination. The revision program includes a full video revision (18-24 hours), as well as CAIA study materials including revision notes and 6 CAIA practice exams.
- Select certain specific components of the pre-recorded course or revision program: a full set of notes, question bank, or three full practice exams.
