1. Choose the right course
The RE5 syllabus consists of a set of laws and regulations. For most people, studying all this is dry and confusing. 2. Track progress
Most reps have to pass the RE5 exam within two years of their date of first appointment. But in a busy job, important goals that aren’t urgent are often left behind.
You can help by checking in on your reps’ study progress. How much have they covered? Which quizzes have they completed? Have they attempted a RE5 mock exam yet? If progress is solid, you can celebrate with them. If it’s slipping, you’ll be able to step in early and help them get back on track.

3. Book the exam smoothly
The RE5 exam is administered independently by Moonstone. Booking involves gathering ID details, choosing a venue and date, making payment, and more.
For individual delegates, you can book online here. But for groups, that method is slow and repetitive, as you’ll need to re-enter details for each person. Instead, email faisexam@moonstoneinfo.co.za to request the bulk booking template and guidance. It’s a quicker, easier way to manage the process.
