A retreat for leaders seeking time to think, connect and reinvigorate

Leadership today calls for huge self awareness, holistic intelligence, grit, innovativeness, courage, groundedness, clarity, empathy, and heart. The Anew School of Leadership is a bespoke leadership retreat for leaders or managers in any type of organisation who value these qualities.

The School of Leadership offers a bespoke three-day retreat designed for leaders to connect with each other, themselves, and the environment. Through thematic conversations, group learning, delicious meals, and time for self-reflection, this retreat provides the space leaders need to cultivate their intentional responses to the world.

Challenges of leadership today

Leadership today is fascinating, but also immensely challenging. Across industries, leaders struggle to respond coherently to:

  • dizzying technological and digital advances
  • enormous geopolitical shifts
  • complex, interdisciplinary challenges requiring nuanced, urgent solutions
  • deepening polarisation in a time of instant connection
  • a climate crisis that risks the future of our species
  • ongoing, horrific acts of terror and war
  • the emotional impact of all this on the people they lead.

A programme of rich reflection

During this three-day programme, with accommodation for three nights, you will:

  • Deepen your awareness of your leadership purpose, behaviours, and impact
  • Work empathetically and authentically with the needs of your stakeholders
  • Utilise language as a tool to create reality and enhance your leadership narrative
  • Embrace the role of ‘Leader as Coach’ through impactful questioning
  • Connect with the emotional spaces of those you lead
  • Engage in mindfulness practices such as gentle movement, walking, and being in nature
  • Reflect deeply on core challenges and opportunities, setting intentions for the year ahead.
