“This was an absolutely outstanding experience and a very steep learning curve for different experience levels. Marike and Clinton practice 100% what they preach, set very helpful examples while being open to all types of questions.”
~Jennifer Miksch

Meetings hold extraordinary potential to drive organisational change. When we rethink the way we meet, we can transform how our organisations function.

Why this matters:

Too often, meetings fall short of their promise. Instead of feeling energised and empowered, they leave participants frustrated, disengaged, and unproductive. Through our work with global organisations, we’ve identified recurring challenges in meeting management:

  • Unclear outcomes
  • Transactional relationships
  • Disengaged attendees
  • Lock of preparation and direction
  • Dangerous silences
  • Awkward one-on-ones
  • Calendar overload
  • Virtual disconnection
  • Bland recurring meetings
  • Real decisions happen elsewhere

Meetings can be so much more:

We believe well-structured meetings are opportunities for:

  • Deep individual and collective thinking that sparks creativity, cultivates relationship, and drives innovation
  • Strengthening connections and relationships, fostering trust and psychological safety, with space to disagree constructively and address breakdowns of trust in a productive way
  • Clear and purposeful conversations that lead to greater alignment and delivery across the organisation, shared understanding of the organisation’s and individual goals, accountability and mutual support
  • Cultivating crucial organisational habits, such as active listening, learning about one another’s roles and perspectives, and developing mutual respect, which ripple outward to improve a team’s collaboration and long-term performance
